Ludwig

Now we love a good detective show here at Freely, and we love a comedy too. So if you add David Mitchell to the mix then Ludwig ticks every box! Known for the hilarious and relatable Peep Show, the leading man himself is finally (it’s been tooooo long) hitting our screens again! As you know, he’s renown for playing quirky characters so we certainly expect nothing less this time!

Now you know the star, we’ll tell you allll about the show EVERYONE has been waiting for! Here is everything you need to know about BBC’s new comedy-drama!

Ludwig

What is Ludwig about?

The life of John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor is a quiet one, no wife, no use of modern technology, just a dedication to designing puzzles under the pen name Ludwig. However, everything changes when twin DCI James Taylor goes missing! John, under pressure from his sister-in-law decides to impersonate his detective brother! (What could go wrong?) With a whole team of crime-solvers under him at Cambridge’s busiest inner-city major crimes team, the steaks are high and he must keep up his ruse!
