A TV classic, Essex boy Gavin (Mathew Horne) and Barry Island girl Stacey (Joanna Page) begin a relationship over the phone when they are at work. This British sitcom follows them on their relationship journey from finally meeting to falling in love, getting married (despite some doubts) and hunting for their first home!

But we can’t have a roundup of some of the best shows to watch in between assignments and lectures and not include some of the absolute classics! Friends, Brooklyn nine-nine and Breaking Bad are perfect if you need something that can be background noise or the perfect binge, but if you have your mates over, then we defo recommend you add The Office (US) and Rick and Morty - guaranteed to have you in fits of laughter!
