You can get to all channels through the TV Guide, see live programmes, and look ahead seven days to find out what’s scheduled on each channel. Sound good? Here’s how to use it.
Finding the TV Guide
- Turn on your Freely TV and make sure it’s connected to the internet.
- Press Guide on your remote. This button is usually labelled as Guide, EPG (Electronic Program Guide), or will show as a box with two horizontal lines inside.
- You can also get to the TV Guide from the home screen via the menu options at the top of the screen.
- Most TVs will let you open the guide in full screen where you can scroll across to see what's on later.
- You can also find the TV Guide on the Freely website.
Using the TV Guide
- Use the arrow keys on your remote to navigate through the TV Guide. The arrow keys are usually labelled up, down, left, and right.
- Scroll through the channels and time slots to see the shows airing now and what’s coming up.
Show info
- Select a specific show by highlighting it using the arrow keys. Info about the programme will be displayed at the top of the screen. You can also press the information button on your remote usually labelled with the letter I for more details about the show you’ve selected.
- Press the OK or Enter button on your remote to watch the programme live on the channel you’ve selected.
Leaving the TV Guide
- To exit the TV Guide and return to watching TV, press the Exit or Back button on your remote. This will close the TV Guide and take you back to the live show.
